As Australia watches the devastation of the floods that have occurred across QLD, Northern NSW and VIC, our thoughts are foremost with those families and communities who are coming to terms with loss of loved ones, homes, memories and communities they once knew as their lives.

The safety of everyone has been and must remain the priority for all, together with our support for the various emergency service teams who are moving in to co-ordinate the clean up and rebuilding phase.

Across our business I am relieved to report that no member of our staff has been severely impacted by this unprecedented disaster.

For many of our customers and suppliers the story is vastly different, and we need to pull together to ensure the individual needs of every affected person are addressed. These efforts will take months and years and patience and empathy will be required by all to restore lives, homes, businesses and community spirit.

As the Chief Executive Officer for JELD-WEN Australia I am committing every one of our employees to stand shoulder to shoulder with the communities we live and do business in to ensure that those who have lost so much will be treated with kindness and compassion as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.

Every customer is important to us, and my team and I are well aware that our brands, known and trusted by Australian homeowners, will play a vital role in the rebuilding phase.

Our immediate priority is to any customer across QLD, Northern NSW and VIC who has an order placed with us and is expecting delivery.

Our Stegbar retail centre in Toowoomba has been severely impacted by flooding and although the office has been reopened to the public for business, essential repairs will mean that the retail centre will not have a full suite of product on display until mid to late February.

As a national company, JELD-WEN Australia has businesses and suppliers located in all affected States. The current advice is that every State is experiencing extensive road closures which we know will have a flow on effect to our supply chains whilst repairs to vital infrastructure take place.

Please be assured that our teams in each State are doing their best to minimise any inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

For those homeowners facing the enormous task of rebuilding their homes, JELD-WEN Australia will establish a dedicated channel of assistance for you in the coming weeks and this website will be the best reference point for you to obtain the latest information and help.
