Move to new master brand shines focus on JELD-WEN family

JELD-WEN Australia Windows & Doors is the new master brand of JELD-WEN Australia, representing a new peak in the evolving story of the market-leading company.

The major development means the new brand runs across the well-known marquees of Airlite, Corinthian, Regency, Stegbar, William Russell Doors and JELD-WEN Glass Australia.

JELD-WEN Australia has been constantly evolving since the American-based JELD-WEN Inc first invested in the Australian residential housing sector more than a decade ago, with stake holdings in our Stegbar and Corinthian brands.

Since that time, JELD-WEN has been a leader in innovating, adapting, and dominating the market in an environment that has presented many challenges, including rapid technological advances and considerable changes in the way Australians are choosing to live and work.

Mr Lapping says the new master brand is the latest evolution in the JELD-WEN story. The move is expected to advance the business across the family of individual iconic brands, to a new level.

“With JELD-WEN Windows and Doors we are creating a common message.

“JELD-WEN Windows and Doors is the global institution behind the iconic brand you’ve become so familiar in dealing with. JELD-WEN is the brand behind the brand,” he says.

The strength and relationships forged by each of the core brands will not be diluted, rather, they will be enhanced by the move, Mr Lapping says.  

“Our iconic brands have collectively represented JELD-WEN Australia as the main vehicles for the promotion of our business. We can be and will continue to be proud of these brands and our businesses will stand in the market as they have historically.

“However, the time is right for us to move toward a collective representation of all of our brands under a single commercial brand – JELD-WEN Windows and Doors.”

The change means an evolution of the traditional brand silo structure. Under the new umbrella brand, customers will be exposed to the entire suite of JELD-WEN products.

Director of Business Development Chris Barker says JELD-WEN Windows and Doors will continue to build each of the brands with robust reputations for innovation, quality and trust under the JELD-WEN Windows and Doors umbrella.
